Trading Rules

Stop Losses

  • Not required.

News Trading

  • Not allowed. Trades must not be opened or closed 5 minutes before or after a red folder news event. Profit from these trades is deducted at payout.

Expert Advisors (EAs)

  • Not allowed on Instant Funding Static.

Copy Trading

  • You can copy your own trades.

  • Copying other traders' trades in the same timeframe is not allowed.

Averaging Into Trades

  • Allowed.

Tick Scalping

  • Keep trades open for over 2 minutes. Shorter trades are a soft breach.

Consistency Rules

Profit Consistency Rule (25%)

  • No single trading day can make up 25% or more of your total profit for the payout period.

  • Example: if your best day is $1,000, you need $4,000 total profit before you can request a payout.

  • Not meeting it is not a breach. You just keep trading until you do.

Drawdown & Targets

Maximum Drawdown (8% Static)

  • Your equity can never drop more than 8% below your starting balance.

  • It is fixed from day one. It doesn't trail and doesn't reset.

  • Example: on a $100,000 account, equity must stay above $92,000.

Daily Drawdown (4%)

  • At 5pm EST each day we take the higher of your balance or equity and subtract 4% of your starting balance. That's your floor for the next day.

Example 1: Floating Profit

  • $100,000 account, balance $100,000, equity $102,000 at 5pm EST.

  • Next day equity can't drop below $98,000 ($102,000 minus $4,000).

Example 2: Floating Loss

  • $100,000 account, balance $100,000, equity $98,000 at 5pm EST.

  • Balance is higher, so next day equity can't drop below $96,000 ($100,000 minus $4,000).

Floating Loss Rule

  • Your floating loss (open losses plus swaps and commissions) must never be more than 1% of your starting balance, measured from your current balance. This applies whether you're in profit or not.

  • 1st breach: profit split is halved.

  • 2nd breach: account closed.

  • This rule can be removed with the Floating Loss Removal add-on at checkout for 15% of the account cost.

Example 1

  • $100,000 account at a $100,000 balance. Open trades push equity below $99,000. That's a breach.

Example 2

  • $100,000 account at a $102,000 balance. Open trades push equity to $100,900, a $1,100 floating loss. That's a breach, even though you're still above your starting balance.

Payouts

Profit Split

  • Your split rises with each payout:

    • 1st payout: 50%

    • 2nd payout: 55%

    • 3rd payout: 60%

    • 4th payout: 65%

    • 5th payout: 70%

    • 6th payout onwards: 80%

Payout Schedule

  • Instant payouts. Request as soon as you meet the payout requirements. There's no fixed cycle date.

Profit Cap & Max Withdrawal

  • Profit cap per cycle: 5% of starting balance.

  • Max withdrawal per cycle: 5% of starting balance.

  • Example: on a $200,000 account, the most you can withdraw per cycle is $10,000.

Minimum Profitable Days

  • 4 profitable days before each payout.

  • A profitable day is a day with at least 0.5% profit.

24-Hour Payout Guarantee

  • Payouts are processed within 24 business hours of an eligible request.

  • If we miss this, you get an extra 10% on your profit split.

  • Exceptions: weekends and bank holidays, compliance or risk reviews, and delays in Rise onboarding or waiting on your reply.

Top Up

  • If you're in drawdown, you can pay to top your balance back up to the starting balance. The cost depends on how far down you are.

  • Find it on your account's metrics page in the dashboard.

  • Example: a $200,000 account sitting at $192,000 can pay to be reset to $200,000.

Rule Breaches & Payout Denials

Soft Breaches (Profit Deductions)

  • If you break a funded account rule (for example tick scalping or news trading), the profit from that trade is deducted from your total profit.

  • If deductions are less than your profit, the reduced payout is still processed.

  • If deductions are more than your profit (for example $3,000 profit and $4,000 deducted), the payout is denied.

  • Maximum of 20 soft breaches before the account is closed. These are checked at payout, not automatically.

  • If 50% or more of your trades are soft breaches, the payout is declined. For example, 10 breached trades out of 15.

Payout Denial Penalties

  • 1st denial: profit split is halved.

  • 2nd denial: account closed.
